Forty columns divide the internal space into five naves and light shines in from the fifty-five stained glass windows that were started in the 4th century but not completed until the 20th century.This Gothic cathedral has everything; rare marble, "stories" painted on the colourful stained glass windows and the children will love to "spot the ugliest gargoyle"!
