Rafting on the Martha Brae, the island’s #1 rafting attraction is located approximately 10 minutes from the town of Falmouth. Your experience begins at “Rafter’s Village”, which sits on a natural horseshoe island featuring a fully appointed recreational facility with a bar and souvenir shops. Established in 1970, Rafting on the Martha Brae boasts a complement of eighty five licensed and experienced raft captains. Guests board 30-foot bamboo rafts under the supervision of a licensed dispatcher. The raft ride lasting approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes is operated over a three-mile stretch of the beautiful Martha Brae River.
