In summer, it is a very popular destination in Herzegovina.

Blagaj tekija

Tekija in Blagaj is located at the source of the Buna river, not far from the center of Blagaj near Mostar. It represents a valuable sacral-residential building of Islamic architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with very pronounced features that arose from the influence of the Baroque on Ottoman architecture.The Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments, at its session held from December 6 to 11, 2003 in Sarajevo, made a decision to declare Tekija in Blagaj a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
