During this activity, you will learn how to smell and taste in order to discover the incredible aromas and flavors of some of the finest Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oils. You will participate in an olive oil tasting experience, led by the expert olive oil taster, that will help you understand the true meaning of “extra virgin” as well as how to describe an olive oil correctly with terms such as “fruity”, “bitter” and “spicy”. You will discover how to recognize a defective olive oil from a good one. This activity also aims to introduce you to the uniqueness of the Mediterranean Diet and all the health & beauty benefits of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO), which can transform your life forever. The tour includes the tasting of 2 exceptional olive oils and 2 of lesser quality, in order to distinguish the differences.

Meeting and Pickup
• All clients are kindly requested to send their preferred meeting point and location until 3:00pm of the previous date. Should they fail to do so, our company will do anything it can in order to locate them (telephone, email, etc), however it is not responsible for any failure to meet them. • Meeting points can be hotels anywhere on the island, the old port or the new port. The information necessary is either the hotel name or the name of the cruise ship they are arriving with. • For any other accommodation, clients are requested to send us a google map, a nearby hotel or any information that would help us locate them. • Any delay of behalf of the client (up until 15 minutes that we will be waiting for them) affects the transfer schedule and disrupts the smooth conduct of the tour/activity.

The visitor learns everything about Greek olive oil, about the health benefits of extra virgin olive oil and the Mediterranean Diet. The activity is hosted by a specialist olive oil taster and lasts about 2 hours in a specially designed area of the Mykonian farm.
