Makapuu Lighthouse Trail

Visit the beautiful Makapu u Lookout point with stunning views of the ocean and windward coastline. Travelers will have the option to hike up the short lighthouse trail to see gorgeous rocky cliffs and views of Honolulu. The trail is paved and moderately easy. After hiking the trail and taking in the views, we will get back in the car to continue our journey!

Visit a beautiful white sand beach on Oahu's Windward Coast. Relax with a picnic while taking in clear blue waters and striking island peaks rising up out of the ocean. Waimea Valley is one of Oahu's most striking botanical gardens. Stroll along the path while taking in some of the most magnificent trees you will ever see until you reach Waimea Falls, where you can take a refreshing swim. (Admission to the falls is not included in the tour and is $25 for out of state residents. Discounts are available for children, students and seniors.)** For those travelers who wish not to visit the falls, we can go to Sharks Cove instead as an optional extra. Sharks Cove is a beautiful marine preserve on the North Shore. It's an excellent spot for swimming, snorkeling and watching the waves. This attraction is free.

Turtle Beach is famous on Oahu's North Shore for basking sea turtles. We will stop here to walk along the beach, take photos and gaze at the beautiful turtles.
