What To Expect
This is a full scuba certification course that takes place over 2 consecutive weekends.
Day one will be review the final exam and confined water scuba training from the beach. Day two will be 2 scuba dives in the ocean. The next weekend Day 3 will be completing the confined water training and Day 4 will be the final 2 check out dives.
All equipment except mask, snorkel fins and boots are included (Bring your own or prices start at $175). Digital learning is included and required to be completed before 1st day of class (contact us directly for access). At the completion of the training you will have earned an Open Water Scuba Certification from Scuba Schools International (SSI) and will have logged four local scuba dives.
Class is designed for locals, but anyone that can meet the schedule is welcome. You are going to require your own transportation.

- Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

(6)Q: How soon can I fly in an airplane after Scuba diving?
A: Participants in the Open Water Scuba Certification cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive. The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS. Read more Jun 2024
