The river is home to a wide variety of waterbirds, as well as river otters, several turtle and fish species, a variety of birds including ospreys, hawks, bald eagles, and swallowtail kites, and we may even spot an alligator basking in the Florida sunshine along the way.
Rainbow River is very popular for swimming and snorkeling, and we most likely will even see scuba divers exploring below our paddle boards.
