What To Expect

Enjoy the untouched landscapes and winding valleys of Umbria, as you learn how to cook traditional farmhouse recipes. The Locanda is a typical country house made of stone located only a few kilometers from the magical city of Orvieto, along the panoramic road to Lake Bolsena. Learning some cooking skills from a local chef is a great opportunity to discover the real heart of Italy, and to take it with you.

At the farmhouse you will be a chef for the day and learn from an experienced cook who will teach you the secrets of Umbrian and Tuscan cuisine, which comprises of simple and tasty dishes. The products used for the recipes come from the vegetable garden or nearby farms. You can prepare your own full menu from appetizer to dessert or you can choose from pre-selected courses, including homemade pasta, pizza and bread.
