All about meringue: a pastry & culinary arts workshop in Paris
Overview
Our speakers are experienced trainers, with strong teaching experience and real expertise in the History of Gastronomy.
You will thus learn the "little tricks" of the great Pastry Chefs that will allow you to easily reproduce at home these desserts and you will also live an immersive experience in the History of French Pastry by discovering many cultural anecdotes about the culinary arts.
A small group of up to 8 people that allows everyone to train and trainers to give you personalized advice. All in a warm apartment in Paris, where you will feel like home, you will live an experience that you are not about to forget!
What's Included
- Tea and coffee Hot and cold drinks are offered during the workshop and the pastries made during the workshop are tasted on site or taken away by the participants at the end of the workshop.
- All professional kitchen equipment is provided and each participant is equipped with an apron during the workshop

What To Expect
You will make different desserts based on French, Swiss and Italian meringue as well as the creams that accompany them: with lemon, whipped cream and will learn how to make the assemblies. You will discover the history of the Pavlova and many other cultural anecdotes around these desserts. We will discuss the history of French pastry and the major trends that have traveled through the ages. An original workshop concept that combines the practice of pastry AND the cultural dimension of the culinary arts.
