Once you reach Mont saint Michel you will realize that it was worth travelling for hours to reach this magical island topped by a gravity-defying abbey, the Mont-Saint-Michel and its Bay count among France’s most stunning sights.

For centuries one of Europe’s major pilgrimage destinations, this holy island is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After the visit of Mont Saint Michel we head to the famous D Day Omaha Beach. Omaha Beach is a landing area in Normandy, northern France, used by Allied forces in the WWII D-Day invasion. Today, the beach is dotted with the remains of German bunkers. On the shore, the stainless-steel sculpture Les Braves commemorates American soldiers.

After Omaha Beach we head back to your hotel in Paris.

Benedictine Monks began building an abbey here in the 10th century.The abbey has withstood the assaults of man, time, and the elements. The heroic resistance of the mount to English attacks during the Hundred Years’ War (14th and 15th centuries) made it a symbol of French national identity.Monks left the abbey in 1790 and it was listed as a historic monument in 1874.
