Musee d'Orsay

We will start with the works of the Barbizon school and Corot, who boldly departed from traditional restrictions, discarding the rules of antiquity and classicism. We will see the provocative work of Courbet and discuss the innovative techniques of realist artists, tracing their influence on future Impressionists. Finally, we will travel through France with the enchanting impressionist paintings: journey to northern France in Normandy with Monet, transfer to 19th-century Paris with Renoir, and feel the warm breeze of Provence with the paintings of Paul Cézanne.
