Dos Ojos means two eyes and it gets the name from two caverns close together and connected by a common area. These two caverns start and end in the same place but are very different:
- The Barbie line: this part is very illuminated with a lot of light. There is a lot of space around huge stalactites and columns. Thanks to its magnificent stalactites and stalagmites, you will have the impression that nature has been created over millions of years.
- The Bat Cave line: this part is more like a dark cave because some parts have very low light with many tunnels and rooms. You will feel almost like in a cave. This line leads around an air-filled bat cave. You will ascend to see the bats and wonderful decorations.
This cenote offers 2 completely different dives. The visibility through the water is amazing, this cenote is a famous spot for diving and snorkeling.
