What To Expect
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breath underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING is for you!!!! While not a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world; you must be at least 10 years old, no prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
From 8.00 till 11.00
A theory and a pool training in the morning will teach you:
- The basic safety guidelines
- Go over the scuba equipment you use to dive and how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear
- Find out what it’s like to breathe underwater
- Learn key skills that you’ll use during every scuba dive
- Have fun swimming around and exploring
From 12.00 till 16.00
Two afternoon shallow dives of 40 minutes each on two different reefs, accompanied by our PADI Professional, to appreciate the beautiful corals and lot of animals, like turtles, moray eels, groupers, barracudas, crabs, shrimps and much more

Mar 2022Participants in the Discover Scuba Diving Course in Playa del Carmen with Two Coral Reef Dives cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.
The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
