What To Expect

They take place at the Underwater Museum (MUSA) which has more than 500 different sculptures.
The main idea was to divert divers from the Cancun reef. The sculptures in the Cancun Underwater Museum have filled with animals and have begun to attract tourists and divers from all over the world. The MUSA underwater museum in Cancun is unique. You will see how many species of fish and corals have begun to make the museum their permanent home, fulfilling the goal of the environmental improvement project.

- Minimum age is 10 years for reef diving
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive (Open Water Diver PADI or equivalent)
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers

(7)Q: How soon can I fly in an airplane after Scuba diving?
A: Participants in the Diving in Cancun Underwater Museum of Art cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive. The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS).
