What To Expect
Try Scuba Diving in Playa del Carmen
Arrive at the dive center, meet your instructor, and receive your scuba gear. After a theory session and shallow water training, board the boat for your first dive at a beautiful coral reef, reaching 40 feet (12 meters). Encounter colorful fish, stingrays, and other marine life in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean.
After the dive, return to the boat for a surface interval, where you can relax and enjoy fresh fruit, cookies, and water while taking in the stunning ocean views.
Next, head to a second dive site, offering a unique underwater landscape with different coral formations and marine species. Each location provides a new and exciting experience.
After the second dive, return to the dive center, where you can share your experience, view photos, and learn about certification courses to continue your scuba journey.

The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
