What To Expect
Picture yourself descending into a world of rugged beauty, where towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls await. Our guided tour is packed with plenty of thrills, including exhilarating abseils, heart-pounding climbs, slides, and daring jumps into crystal-clear pools of water.
Located in the pristine wilderness of the Mt Aspiring National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with limited numbers allowed in the park this adventure is reserved for the fortunate few each season.
While no prior experience is needed, a medium level of fitness is required. You’ll need to be able to swim and physically able to strut your stuff in a wetsuit for up to 3 hours navigating through the terrain with walks, climbs, swims, jumps and moves that’ll leave you feeling totally accomplished!
Our minimum age is legally set at 12 to join the fun, also for our young thrill-seekers aged 12 to 14, we ask that a supervisor aged 16 years or older tags along to keep the excitement flowing safely.

- Ages: Minimum 12y Maximum 60y
- Customers aged 12 to 14, must have a supervisor aged 16 years or older accompany them.
- Customers aged 12 to 16 must have their legal guardian sign the "risk acknowledgement" form prior to travel or at check in.
- Subject to weather - If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of booking an alternative date or receiving a full refund
- Customer choose either a meat or vegetarian lunch option, MUST be advised at time of booking
- Canyoning New Zealand is an adventure activity that is safety audited annually to the highest standards. Part of our responsibility is to ensure all participants understand the risks of participating prior to booking their tickets. The trip is mentally and physically demanding and requires the client to be English speaking, comfortable and confident with moving over uneven and possibly slippery terrain, being in the water, swimming and dealing with heights.
