Experience riding an Icelandic horse and learn about the traditions around horsemanship in Iceland. Our little farm is located just 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavík - but still you feel like you are at the countryside when you arrive with us. We only have few horses and our riding centre is very small, that way we feel we can keep the atmosphere personal and authentic. This is a private tour, so it can be customized to your riding level.

Suitable for both beginners and advanced riders.

Full riding time is roughly one hour.

    What To Expect

    Icelandic riding

    At arrival to our stable you will be met by one of our guides. As the tour is private it will only be you and your group along with the tour guide. Our tours start at the stable preparing you and the horse for the ride. Then we will head out, exploring the beautiful nature in our area.Whether you are a novice or have some prior experience, our guides will tailor the tour to your individual needs. From mounting and dismounting to mastering the basic of riding gaits, you'll gain confidence in the saddle while building a solid understanding of proper riding techniques. Our riding tours are designed to not only enhance your riding abilities but also to provide a unique and immersive experience in nature, enjoying the scenic vistas of our area.The total riding time varies a little bit depending on your riding level. You can expect the tour to take around 1 hour to 1,5 hours.Total time from arrival to departure is around 2 hours.
