Stakkholtsgjá canyon

Stakkholtsgjá is a narrow and deep canyon. The canyon is approximately 2 kilometers long and features towering rock walls that reach up to 100 meters in height.As you enter Stakkholtsgjá, you will be surrounded by towering rock walls and a narrow stream that flows through the canyon. The stream can be crossed by hopping from rock to rock and it is possible to get your feet wet.At the end of the canyon, you will see a stunning waterfall that cascades down from a height of approximately 30 meters. The waterfall is surrounded by lush green vegetation and rock formations, and the mist from the waterfall creates a mystical atmosphere in the canyon.

Gljúfrabúi is a beautiful waterfall located near Seljalandsfoss What makes Gljúfrabúi unique is that it is hidden inside a narrow canyon and can only be accessed by wading through a shallow stream.When you approach Gljúfrabúi, you will first see a narrow opening in the rock face, which is the entrance to the canyon. As you enter the canyon, you will be surrounded by towering rock walls on either side, and the sound of the rushing water will grow louder.As you make your way further into the canyon, you will see Gljúfrabúi in all its glory.
