Overview

We will begin our tour by gathering near Plaza Venezia, precisely in Plaza Aracoeli 11, opposite Bar Campidoglio. From there we will head towards the Plaza del Campidoglio where we will stop to explain the history of the square and some of the statues that adorn it. Then we will head towards a terrace from which it will be possible to admire spectacular views of the Roman Forum. We will continue along the picturesque Calle de los Foros Imperiales, which offers an extraordinary view of the remains of the ancient Forums, testimony to the greatness of the Roman Empire. We will then pass under the majestic Colosseum, telling of its most significant events.
We will conclude our trip in the restaurant “Il Salotto del Colosseo”, where we can taste a selection of excellent local wines, selected by a sommelier, accompanied by a delicious table of sausages and seasonal cheeses.

We will begin the walk by meeting at the Campidoglio Bar, in Piazza d'Aracoeli, located near Piazza Venezia. From here we will climb one of the seven hills of Rome: Piazza del Campidoglio. Then we will look out onto a balcony from which we will see the Roman Forum, the largest and oldest square in Imperial Rome.
