A spiritual and artistic journey on the life of Saint Rita da Cascia like the Monastero historical place where Saint Rita lived 40 years as an Augustinian nun and where she died, in 1457, at the age of 76.

The basilica of San Francesco is an imposing church on 2 levels consecrated in 1253. The 13th century frescoes that portray the life of St. Francis have also been attributed, among others, to Giotto and Cimabue. The crypt houses the stone sarcophagus of the saint.
