Inside the gardens of Villa Borghese skip the line and take a rowing boat on the Villa Borghese pond (lasting 20 minutes) rowing at your own pace and independently. Surrounded by lush greenery and mature trees, you'll get lovely views of the park, with the Temple of Aesculapius reflecting off the still waters, creating an almost timeless atmosphere. One of the highlights is this neoclassical temple, located on a small island in the middle of the lake, built between 1785 and 1792.
