Overview

You’ll get to pack your own fishing gear from scratch and choose the winning lure to attract the fish. We make our way to the frozen lake like Finns do, then it’s time to drill a hole to the ice and lower the bate. Lay down on the reindeer skin, enjoy a hot drink by the fire we’ve built for you and simply wait for the perch and other freshwater fish species to hopefully find their way to you!

    Please arrive on time at the meeting point. The bus will leave exactly on the given time. If you miss the pick up time we will not refund the excursion. The pick-up time from Rovaniemi city center (Korkalonkatu 36): 50 minutes before safari starting time. The pick-up from Santa Claus Village (bus stop Napapiiri I by the main road) 35 minutes before safari starting time.

    If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
