This is a Cabo Arch Tour with a difference, as our glass bottom kayaks allow you to see beautiful sea life as you paddle through one of the most beautiful bodies of water in the world. And you can get an even closer look at the sea life in Cabo by snorkeling in the clear turquoise waters.

Meeting and Pickup
For cruise ship passengers: As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters. Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store.Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico.If you are driving yourself: The meeting point is at the Plaza Gali parking lot, which is located right in front of the Sandos Finisterra Hotel. We will meet you in front of the OXXO convenience store which is located at the exit of the parking lot.Exact location: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (OxxO) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico.If you choose our complimentary transport service: Our round-trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. - We do not use boats, all our water activities start from the beach.
- Participants must be at least 6 years old. Max. weight on tandem kayaks is 195kg/425lbs.
- The price per person is the same for both children and adults.
- You have the option to choose your preferred pick-up time within the specified time frame, as it is a private tour.
- We recommend the earliest start possible for your tour as historically there are stronger winds early in the afternoon. Due to this, there are times when we can’t reach the arch, only Pelican Rock. Also, because the arch is the most well-known landmark in Cabos, there’s a high number of visitors, and it’s even more crowded in the afternoons.
- Unfortunately, we cannot control the wind. In the event that strong winds prevent us from getting to the Arch, we will spend more time snorkeling to make sure the adventure continues. We will not issue partial refunds.
- Your safety is our priority, when the conditions are not favorable, due to wind, high waves, or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
- Since this is a private tour, you can decide whether or not to complete the full activity.
- Our activities take place on the beach and there are no locker facilities, however, you can safely leave your personal belongings in the transportation.
- All transfers are complementary and optional, therefore the price doesn’t change if you don’t use the transfer option.
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No show or last minute cancellation will be charged in full. This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The maximum weight capacity for kayaking is 340 lbs / 154 kg.
Nov 2021No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.
The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.
Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.
Sep 2022Your safety is City Boat Tours‘s number one concern. In general, sea kayaking is safer than most other outdoor pursuits, even bicycling.
Jan 2023If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
