Visit Museo de Caguas; located at the Former City Hall Building, The Museum of Caguas consists of five exhibition halls that present the principal events that highlight the HISTORICAL EVOLUTION OF THE CRIOLLO IDENTITY. They take us from the indigenous Taíno Indian culture, through the socioeconomic transformations of the five centuries that followed the Discovery by Christopher Columbus in 1493, up to the present time. This building was constructed in 1887 and it is the only structure on the trail that has kept its original architecture. It includes water well in its interior. Originally it was used as an infant school, jail, military headquarters and a mental hospital. In 1989 it was declared a Historic Monument.

Caguas Folk Art Museum (Museo de Artes Populares de Caguas) pays tribute to Puerto Rican artisans and Creole hands that have managed to create unique handmade products of practical use or aesthetic and artistic value.The museum has two main areas: the first hall contains a permanent and representative collection of Puerto Rican master craftsmen, such as woodcarvers of saints: Zoilo Cajigas, Celestino Avilés and Domingo Orta.
