Overview
We are a SWIMMERS ONLY snorkel company that offers Manatee and Sea Turtle encounters on the same tour; with a guarantee! If you miss your favorite animal, come again free. Please understand, this is not a Zoo, we don't secure wildlife, we share the water and visit their favorite hangouts.
We explore a protected free-range marine sanctuary where our sea life calls home. On our swim we will encounter wild manatees of Puerto Rico, along with Sea Turtles, Spotted Eagle Rays, Starfish, and more!
Please note: We will be passively interacting with our ocean friends, which means NO petting, NO touching, NO feeding of the wildlife at anytime.
After the tour we will gift a taste of island rum to our guests as an end of day gift! Rest assured, full drinks can be purchased from the adjacent drink and food stand.
Please be advised, this tour is subject to last minuite cancelation due to weather or low guests count.

Please keep in mind, the animals are wild, every species may not be present on every tour.
We get everyone fitted with their equipment. Once everyone is ready, we will swim out ( no boat ) to visit our favorite sea life on the days route. This tour does require a fair amount of swimming and the ocean current varies so, only those who are physically fit should book for the greater benefit. We love our work and have lots of humor to get through the day, we keep it about PG-13 so, we also ask no children or anyone with sensitive ears to join us either. We are looking for fun and adventurous people who would like to enter the water together and adventure! I am a seasoned pro at tracking down the local wildlife and have assembled an amazing team to assist me in water! In fact, we promise that if you don't see your favorite animal, you are invited again FREE! It is imperative to understand that this is NOT a zoo, wildlife is NOT secured, we simply share the water with them.

Yes, we allow pregnant women to go on snorkeling. However, it’s crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before doing so to assess your individual health and pregnancy stage.
Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All City Boat Tours snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on City Boat Tours tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.
May 2023First-time snorkelers can be assured of one-on-one instruction and assistance. We find introducing folks to our world very rewarding!
Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
Sep 2021- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (AST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
