What To Expect
Experience Mexico’s culture! Create your own Lele doll with a local artist, enjoy an interactive coffee experience, + finish with a chocolate led by a local chocolatier.
We'll begin with an introduction to the beloved Lele doll, a cherished symbol that has been crafted by Querétaro's indigenous communities for generations. Spend approximately two hours with Mari, our talented doll maker + lifelong artisan. During this time, you'll create your own Lele doll, guided by Mari's expertise + passion.
Next, indulge in an immersive coffee-tasting experience with our dear friends Laura + Aldo. They bring their organic goods all the way from their Mixe community in the mountains of Oaxaca. Learn about coffee production while sampling a variety of Oaxacan treats that highlight the region's rich flavors.
Finish your journey with an exquisite chocolate tasting led by our friend + passionate chocolatier.
This tour is a delightful blend of tradition, artistry, + culinary delights, celebrating the incredible gifts these indigenous artists bring to our city. We love these artists + are excited to share their stories + talents with you.
