    Our first stop will be Su Nuraxi, the most representative nuragic complex among compound nuraghi, i.e. those consisting of more than one tower. Due to its uniqueness it became part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.

    A few minutes from the Su Nuraxi complex, inside the town of Barumini, there is the "Casa Zapata" site, a wonderful residence built by the noble Aragonese Zapata family starting from the end of the 16th century.
