It is an ancient complex of Domus de Janas: rock-cut chamber tombs, iconic remnants of pre-Nuragic Sardinia. Dating back to the Late Neolithic (4400–2000 BC), they were used for burial rituals and often feature sacred carvings and paintings. Scattered across the island, they appear both in isolation and within necropolises of over 40 tombs, offering a fascinating glimpse into the spiritual and cultural evolution of Sardinia’s early civilizations.
