3. Import the file:
Open the application and look for the Import or Open option and select the GPX file
4. Download offline maps in the app before departure.

For more tranquility, the customer can contract insurance directly with a specialized insurer at the time of the rental.

MAPFRE Portugal – for general coverage

Available coverages may include:
Civil liability against third parties.
Protection against theft (conditional to proper lock or safe storage).
Accidental damage to rented equipment.
Travel assistance or rescue in the event of a breakdown or accident.

The contracting of insurance is optional and made directly between the customer and the insurer, being the entire responsibility of the customer.

A deposit of €500 will be required at the time of renting and returned after the equipment inspection at the end of the rental period, provided no damage or loss is identified.
The security will be withheld, in whole or in part, if damage to equipment or accessories is found, or in case of theft.

Your rental includes a top tube package containing:
- Support for phone for easy navigation and viewing

Optional rental:
- Front and rear lights (recommended for low light conditions)
- Child chair with carrying capacity up to 25 kg

Basic safety concepts
Before walking
Complete battery check
Test the brakes and tire pressure and make sure the ECO assist mode is ON
Adjust the height of the seat
Fix the phone on the support provided

During the walk
Always wear a helmet (mandatory by insurance)
Follow traffic signs and cycling rules
Maximum assisted speed: 25 km/h (15,5 mph)
Use lights in low visibility conditions

Battery management
Pedal in ECO mode for most of the journey
Switch to higher assistance modes for steep climbs
Monitor battery level regularly

Emergency protocol
If mechanical problems occur:
Turn off the engine immediately
Move to a safe place on the road
Use the tools provided for basic repairs

Information about E-Bike
The autonomy of the e-bike varies according to:
- User weight
- Vertical height gain
- Assistance mode used
- Terrain conditions

For optimal reach, use ECO mode on flat terrain and reserve higher levels of assistance for challenging sections.

We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before your booking time. This allows time for a brief guidance on how to use the e-bike and its features.
