The snorkeling will be at either the Coral Gardens OR the Barrier Reef, with approximately 40 minutes at each stop, allowing you more time to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Meeting and Pickup
Please be advised that each hotel has a different pick-up time. A separate email confirmation will be sent out to you with your updated meeting/pick-up instructions. Please ensure that you provide us with an accurate email address. Please select the exact hotel or condo where you will be staying, as we are not allowed to pick up guests from these locations if you are not staying there.Our Waterfront Centre location is recommended for cruise passengers only. We are on Eastern Daylight Time all year round, we do not observe Daylight Savings Time. During Daylight Savings time, some cruise ship remains on Eastern Daylight Time when it arrives here which is one hour ahead of the local time. With this, cruise passengers MUST indicate name of ship so you will be given the correct and appropriate check in time.For on island guests, and you do not require a pick up, we recommend you drive to our 1114B location to check in, as our Waterfront Centre is NOT ALWAYS OPEN. The snorkeling will be at either the Coral Gardens OR the Barrier Reef, with approximately 40 minutes at each stop, allowing you more time to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time.
- Stay-over guests must provide the following information at time of booking: Name of accommodation, room/unit number and if they need pick up.
- Meeting Point for Cruise Passengers: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports check-in office located in the Waterfront Centre, 1/2 - 2 Blocks LEFT of the cruise terminal. Please be there at least 30 minutes before time of tour.
- We provide complimentary pick-up at hotels/condo along Seven-Mile Beach area.
- Meeting point for Stay-over Guests who do not require pick-up: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports main office located in the Cayman Falls Plaza, across the street from the Westin Hotel on seven-mile beach area. Please be here 30 minutes before time of tour.
- Tour operates on local island time NOT ship time.
- Important for cruise guests: In the unlikely event that your ship anchors on the south side of the island (Spotts) instead of in George Town Harbour, our shuttle buses will be there to pick you up, and our drivers wearing navy blue (or maroon) colored shirt will be there to meet you. After your tour, we will drop you back in George Town where you can find a local bus or taxi to get back to Spotts.

Yes, we allow pregnant women to go on snorkeling. However, it’s crucial to consult with your healthcare provider before doing so to assess your individual health and pregnancy stage.
Jan 2022Yes, this is possible, as long as you are comfortable going into the water. All City Boat Tours snorkeling tours adhere to strict safety regulations and have been designed to be enjoyed by all.
Your safety is our #1 priority, which is why:
- You will be wearing a flotation device at all times.
- On many tours, there is a stairway from the boat into the water so you won’t have to “jump” in!
- There are trained staff in the water and watching from the boat at all times.
For these reasons, we believe that even non-swimmers can have a wonderful time on our snorkeling trips, however, the final judgment call is yours to make. Please note we do not give refunds if you decide not to snorkel on the trip.
Oct 2021The snorkel gear we use on City Boat Tours tours is high quality and for your protection, the equipment is sanitized after each use. However, if you feel more comfortable using your own snorkeling equipment, feel free to bring it on the tour. Please note, there is no discount for providing your own equipment and we can’t be responsible for any lost or damaged items.

Oct 2021There are no legal age limits for snorkeling. We have found that age 5 or 6 is a good age to learn the basics of snorkeling, however, it’s entirely up to individuals to make the best choice for their family.
Sep 2021- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (EST).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
