What To Expect
The body rafting excursion to the Alcantara Gorges will let you live a fantastic experience, a mix of adrenaline and adventure will make you discover the beauty of this magnificent canyon unique in the world, the result of volcanic eruptions that give life to a true spectacle of nature.
The excursion begins with an 800-meter river trekking ascent into the canyon, characterized by enchanting lava rocks with unique shapes sculpted over the centuries by the water where you can feel its enchanting strength, the walls are up to 30 meters high and create a truly impressive landscape. Along the way, we will encounter small rapids, where sometimes it will be necessary to swim and climb rocks, but thanks to the help of our guides it will never have seemed so easy! After the ascent, get ready to let yourself be carried away by the current between splashes, jumps, and slides simply by abandoning your body and letting yourself be lulled by the current.

The maximum weight capacity for kayaking is 340 lbs / 154 kg.
Nov 2021No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.
The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.
Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.
