Slowfood Family Farm-Cook with us From Garden to Table Syracuse
Overview
You will have the unique opportunity of gathering vegetables straight from our vegetable garden, collecting wine, grain, nuts, olives, and preserves from our pantry, and then cooking lunch together with our family. You will be able to learn recipes, grind the grain into flour, make ravioli, pesto, and antipasti, and feel welcomed into our home and family as we prepare and cook together. You are likely to meet three generations of our family. Our farm has been a sacred site for over 2500 years. Archeologists found altars used by Greeks and Romans, and we will take you on a journey from ancient times to the present day. We are inside one of the most famous canyons in Sicily, touched by this stunning river, in which you will have the opportunity to swim and dive.
