Overview
We are the first and only art gallery in the village of Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, located on the hills of the Amalfi Coast. Painting classes take place in the quiet oasis of our private garden with lemon trees and tranquility, away from street noise.
Under the Arch Art Gallery is located in a local village and offers travelers a taste of the local life away from mainstream tourist attractions. Sant'Agata is easily accessible by bus or car from Sorrento, Massa Lubrense, Nerano, and the Amalfi Coast.
Participants have the chance to take their painting home as a souvenir, or leave in the gallery for future expositions. We love creating connections with locals and internationals alike, and welcome new artists to our art community.

What To Expect
Learn to paint Mt. Vesuvius, Naples Bay, and various motifs reflecting Sant'Agata’s cultural heritage in our private garden on the hills of the Amalfi Coast. Step-by-step instructions are led by our artist in residence. We host groups of two to twelve participants, appropriate for all ages.
The session begins with a visit to the Atelier and Gallery with a brief introduction to the works of local artists and common cultural and historical symbols of Sant’Agata and Amalfi region. Next, we will head over to the artist’s residence and private garden where participants will learn color theory, shading, texture, and contrast, and deepen their understanding of regional motifs. Supplies will be distributed and instruction will begin.
Water, sparkling water, and fresh lemonade from local lemons from our garden are included. Additional food and beverage options are available upon request and for an additional cost. In-house offerings include a wine list, aperitifs – caprese or tomato salad, bruschetta, and barbeque. We can also arrange special orders from nearby restaurants for groups of 4+, as well as for events and Sip and Paint. We look forward to welcoming you to our artist’s oasis!
