• Military Tunnels on Brač Island
One of the most attractive secrets of Dalmatia are military tunnels, built and used as an important military base during the WW2 which have recently been turned into one of the most attractive visit points on Brač Island. It was intended for safe harbouring special forces submarines and smaller navy vessels. Today tunnels are used for safe harbouring fisherman’s during sudden storms and are visited by many tourists and military enthusiasts. Both are clearly seen as long narrow inlets located close to the large stone cave Blaca Hermitage site, a unique UNESCO protected monument on the Croatian coast.
• Bol (Zlatni Rat Beach)
