Imogene is the second-highest mountain pass in Colorado, climbing to 13,114 feet. It was initially built in 1870 as a mining route from Ouray to Telluride. The pass comes with exposure on narrow ledges, technical switchbacks just as exposed, and rubbled sections that require high clearance and a skilled driver.
