Let venture to the mystical Mermaid Pool through the lush Pine and Mora forest of Mature. The trail descends to the river with a brief hike along the river to the pools. Whilst this river is known for its suitable bathing areas, there are three noticeable pools that are nestled together forming the immaculate Mermaid Pools. The Mature River is indeed a favourite destination among nature lovers. The limestone formations along its path have created many fascinating pools, small waterfalls and gorges. There are many routes leading to the river depending on how far upstream you wish to proceed. This experience will take you on one of the simplest treks to the refreshing Mermaid Pool.
