Ice Fishing On The Fjord
Overview
Ice Fishing on the fjord, starts at the pick-up point in Tromsø. From there we will drive you to the spot and walk down to the frozen sea. On this trip you will get a unique opportunity to catch your own fish. After the fishing trip we will drive to the basecamp and prepare the Fish in Norwegian style.
If we catch any fish you will learn how to prepare and cook it.
There will be told local stories and you can relax in the middle of the arctic wilderness. . When you have learned about our local history and are well rested, we will drive you back to the pick-up point i Tromsø.

What To Expect
Ice Fishing on Ullsfjord starts at the pick-up point in Tromsø. From there we will drive you to The fishingspot and walk down to the frozen sea. On this trip you will get a unique opportunity to catch your own fish. We will prepare the Fish With you, if you catch one. If we catch any fish you will learn how to prepare and cook it.
After the fishing trip we will drive to our basecamp and prepare a local meal With you. Our basecamp has a fantastic view of the Lyngen Alps. There will be told local stories and you can relax in the middle of the arctic wilderness.
When you have learned about our local history and are well rested, we will drive you back to the pick-up point i Tromsø.
We will provide you with warm outerwear, fishing Equipment, Lunch, warm and Cold drinks. Guests must bring their own warm mittens, cap and underwear. Winter shoes are provided by special request.

Yes. Whatever the fishing calls for: live bait, frozen bait, cut bait, or chum, our Charter Captains will have plentiful supplies on hand. The same thing goes for artificial bait such as lures, flies, or plugs.
Jul 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
