Tromso (Pass By)

To get a better look at the Aurora Borealis, we have to get away from the lights of Tromsø and into the Arctic wilderness. The direction we will take will depend on the weather that night: clouds can cover the Aurora, so our priority will be to find clear skies. And if necessary, we'll cross the border into Finland!

Troms (Pass By)

When we find the ideal place, we will look for a quiet area, away from other groups and artificial lights. Waiting is part of the adventure: the Aurora can appear in a few minutes or take a couple of hours. Meanwhile, we'll light a bonfire, have snacks and hot chocolate, and tell you everything I know about this magical phenomenon. In winter, temperatures can range from +5 °C to -30 °C, so I will provide you with thermal suits to be warm.If you have a camera, I will show you how to set it up to take the best pictures of the Aurora. Also, I will take professional photos so you can keep an unforgettable memory of this special night.

It is important to remember that nature is unpredictable: Sometimes the sky can be covered or solar activity can be low. But even on the most uncertain nights, with only 20 minutes of clear skies we can see an impressive sight. Thanks to my experience with local weather and the use of advanced tools, we will do our best to be on site at just the right time.Nights without Aurora are rare, but they can happen. For this reason, it cannot be guaranteed to be sighted 100%.The duration of the tour will depend on what it costs us to find the best conditions. Sometimes it is enough to drive 30 minutes from Tromsø; other times, we will do a real hunt for auroras, traveling more kilometers to find a starry sky. Whatever the night, I guarantee you an unforgettable adventure!
