This Experience takes place in Casa Cenote a perfect open water environment that suits complete beginners. A beautiful unique mangrove ecosystem that connects to the ocean and gives the feeling of diving underneath the jungle.     What To Expect

    The Discover Scuba Diving program allows you to dive with out being certified, making it perfect for those who have never dived before and want to give it a try. It's also a good way to test the waters to see whether you want to go on to get your open water certification. Under the close guidance of a PADI Instructor, we start with some basic theory and an introduction to the equipment then head to Casa Cenote to practice some safety skills and make a dive to around 7m/21ft.

    Participants in the Discover Scuba Diving at Casa Cenote cannot fly in an airplane within 24 hours of their dive.

    The main concern with scuba diving and flying is decompression sickness (DCS). Your body needs adequate time during an ascent to off-gas excess nitrogen, or you can form bubbles in your bloodstream, possibly leading to DCS.
