Just 120 km from Valencia you will find a completely different landscape.
We will show you the picturesque hamlet of San Blas, where we will have the opportunity to taste local cuisine during a lunch. Then we will start an easy level hike through a canyon full of vegetation, always on the fringes of the Guadalaviar River.
We will cross walkways high above the river in the shadow of the rock walls that surround us. After this pleasant hike we will arrive at a beautiful water reservoir (Arquillo de San Blas Reservoir) where we can perform different water activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding or SUP board to choose that is included in the price or just enjoy a well-deserved rest.

What To Expect
Now is the perfect time to escape the city and get some fresh air. Let's enjoy our beautiful nature that offers us shade and swimming possibilities!
From our starting point, San Blas / Teruel, we will go to the Arquillo reservoir, on the winding path that the Guadalaviar river has carved between the rocks. During the tour we will enjoy impressive landscapes where water and vegetation are the main elements.
The Guadalaviar River rises in the Universal Mountains and joins the Alfambra River in Teruel. From here it is called the Turia river which after about 280 km ends in the city of Valencia! Take the opportunity to see where our famous river / Turia Parc begins!
After 1.5 hours walking through a shady forest, we will end up in a perfect place to relax. We will have more than 3 hours to swim, sunbathe or explore the lake with a canoe, kayak or paddle board.
The beautiful crystal clear waters are perfect for swimming or just ordering your cool drink on the terrace. The answer today is: walk and relax! We don't care what the question is.

The maximum weight capacity for kayaking is 340 lbs / 154 kg.
Nov 2021No experience is necessary! Beginners are welcome on all of our kayak tours. Most of our guests have never been in a sea kayak before. Anyone in average physical condition may join a kayak tour. If you can hike or bike, you can paddle our sea kayaks. You do not need any swimming skills either.
The only prerequisite is a healthy spirit of curiosity and adventure.
Regardless of age or skill level you will find that our expeditions offer enough flexibility to make your experience with us safe and rewarding. We will show you proper sea kayaking technique and water safety before leaving the beach. And your expert guides will be with you throughout the adventure to give you pointers and improve your skills.
Sep 2022Your safety is City Boat Tours‘s number one concern. In general, sea kayaking is safer than most other outdoor pursuits, even bicycling.
