What To Expect
Experience the majesty of the Salish Sea and its wildlife, from whales surfacing in unison to bald eagles soaring overhead. Cut through the Strait of Juan de Fuca’s currents in search of orcas and humpback whales, and listen to our marine mammal experts bring the animal’s stories to life while you stay warm, dry and hydrated in its heated cabin, of course! Immerse yourself completely in this incredible experience while we take free high-resolution photos of the wildlife, the landscape and your loved ones!
Ease into the evening aboard our luxury catamaran, Salish Sea Eclipse, as we depart Victoria’s scenic inner harbour. This 3.5-4 hour tour is a photographer’s favourite and a relaxing way to end the day as the sun sets over the Salish Sea. Discover the beauty of Victoria on our whale watching tour, starting from the picturesque Inner Harbour and cruising past the iconic Ogden Point Terminal, with sights of the majestic Legislative Building, the charming Fisherman’s Wharf, the historic Empress Hotel, and the Royal BC Museum’s buildings.

As an active member of the Dolphin SMART program, we do not have physical contact with the dolphins on Sunset Whale Watching Adventure from Victoria. We watch them in their natural habitat from the boat.
Dec 2022If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
Feb 2023- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the tour start time.
- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the tour start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the tour local time (PDT).
- This tour requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
