Upon arrival at the port of Civitavecchia there will be a private coach to collect you at the cruise terminal exit for a 6-hour tour to discover the wonders of ancient Rome. You will be collected from the cruise terminal at 7.30 am for the journey to the Colossuem where you will be met by your tour guide. Your driver will then leave you in the capable hands of the local, expert guide and be there to collect you at the end of the tour for the journey back to your cruise ship. Next is a visit to one of the most well-known fountains in the world, the Trevi Fountain; made famous by Fellini’s movie “La Dolce Vita” it has become an everlasting symbol of Rome. Follow tradition and throw a coin in the fountain and make a wish that you will one day return to Rome! There is then time for a lunch break.
