Discover the Art of Glass in Light with the Artist Alessandro Boscolo
Join me, Alessandro Boscolo, glass artist in Murano, for an exclusive experience in the heart of the island symbol of artistic glass. My family was a pioneer in the technique of torch-blowing (working with light) and I bring with me over 20 years of experience, gained in the workshop and refined through personal research .
In this 1.5 hour - 2 hour interactive workshop, you will have the rare opportunity to see my personal technique up close and try out how to manipulate glowing glass first-hand. I will guide you step by step in handling living matter, showing you how to turn a glass wire into an object, through gesture, precision and creativity.
You will be able to blow, shape and play with glass in a safe and stimulating environment where each step of the process will be explained and shared. It’s not just a demonstration: it’s an immersive and participatory experience, which will allow you to really get in touch with the soul of Murano glass.
