Venice Casanova Tour: Private Itinerary to Discover Casanova Sites in Venice

The history of Venice is full of iconic characters and Giacomo Casanova is surely the most famous of them. His complicated life, with countless love affairs, travels through Europe and even an assignment as a spy for the Republic of Venice, made of Casanova the symbol of the Venetian Eighteenth Century.

The tour will start from St. Mark's Square, under the Clock Tower: from this point you will pass through the commercial district of the city, the Mercerie, to reach Campo San Bartolomeo. An interesting fact is that Goldoni knew very well Casanova’s mother, actress Zanetta Farussi, since she played the leading role in many of his plays!
