We highly recommend this excellent tour. Michael was our guide and he could not have been friendlier or more knowledgable, we felt in very safe hands! The speedboat to Spinalonga was an absolute highlight, and the island is amazing. It was perfectly timed to arrive before all of the big boat tours hit the island. Lunch was an absolutely delicious family style affair with lovely wine and homemade rakia in a beautiful setting. All in all a fantastic day out, thank you Michael!

We just finished the Adventure tour with Mickel as driver. The compliments for his knowledge and his inspiring explanation. He was amazing! We had only booked the night before but despite the late time and the fact that we were only 2nd they organized a tour for us. The Spinalonga was worth visiting all a ticket costs 20 euros p.p. We enjoyed and can recommend everyone to take a tour with Adventure Crete.

George is a very kind person...he is very well informed about everything that could interest someone...he is a high educated professional and i would recommend him and the company for sure.

I feel like a day trip was the perfect way to see Santorini! I wish the stops were just a little bit longer but overall the tour was great. Seeing Oia was a highlight of my Greek trip. And our tour guide Roland was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Had a very nice trip with Gaetin traveling from Elounda to the Zeus caves. Along the way we stopped at and olive oil factory. The kids loved the trip and conversation with Gaetin was very nice.

The driver was waiting for me as I was checking out of the hotel. He was very pleasant to converse with and dropped me off right in front of my airline. I used this service to and from the airport and would totally recommend them.

Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and opened our eyes to so much about Crete and Cretan life. We’ll come back to Crete again to see more in large part because of this tour. We saw the caves of Zeus and the calming town of Elounda as well as an olive oil making tour.

We so enjoyed our four days on Crete, and a major reason was that we had three days of guides from Uncharted East Crete — Andreas, Alexander, and Grethi (I know I am misspelling…). They were all so knowledgeable, and so thoughtful, and genuinely fun. We wanted to learn, and they were great teachers. We learned history, geology, philosophy, botany, and how Cretans look at life. They were a revelation, each in their own way.

We were privileged to have a full-day private tour of the eastern side of Crete with our Snami tour guide NikolasNikolas created an enchanting day for us as we meandered through the mountainous terrain in his Mercedes minibus. He provided us with historical insights on the evolution of civilization, culture, and religion concrete.We visited the charming monasteryKrrmasyon. There, Nikolas shared the importance of monasteries in the orthodox religion throughout Cretan history. He provided insights about how monasteries were used, not only for religious purposes, but also as part of Greek rebellions and hosting secret schools during times when adversarial occupiers did not support education of children.We visited a small village where we had some time to shop. (bring euros… Some local merchants do not take credit cards). Then, Nikolas brought us to some of the highest points on the east side of the island where we enjoyed amazing vistas. The views were truly breathtaking.Nikolas brought us to a wonderful family run taverna in a remote village where we shared scrumptious traditional Greek foods for lunch.While the olive oil factory was closed (it was Sunday) we were still able to learn a lot about olive oil production because Nikolas and his dad are olive tree farmers. Nikolas shared his personal insights on the importance of olive oil production to the island of Crete. He also explained all of the techniques for harvesting, pressing and bottling the oil.On the way back to our hotel, we even got to dip our toes in the Libyan sea!It was a wonderful adventure, and Nikolas added so much depth to our understanding of the local culture and the history of the wonderful island of Crete. If you take this tour, and you should, please ask for Nikolas!

Superb tour with our driver Andréas, ask for it you will not be disappointed. Visit the monastery as well as the canyon with a view of the Libyan Sea. A true paradise Thank you Andreas for your smile and your attention.

This was a top-notch experience for me to explore Crete’s natural landscape. We were amazed to see ancient ruins, charming villages and panoramic places. A perfect day tour for nature enthusiasts.

It was a great trip, it's a long but very scenic ride over from Elounda. The beach is amazing and worth the visit. Dimitri was super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating!

Very complete experience. Nice van with very professional dirver and very experienced Guide. I would recomend it to anyone that whats to see a different Crete, away from the sea side.

We were picked up from our hotel and the guide kicked off with talking about each area we passed. We skipped the line and got in quickly. We had a lite lunch while she took a break and then we went to the small store on-site. Never rushed. The winery was amazing and service there was like Napa. From there we stopped at the museum and had a very informative session. Marinela even went back to some exhibits as questions came up. Best part we never felt rushed or hurried!

Alexander was amazing! He took such good care to show us the real Crete and educate us on the rich history. We really meandered through Rethymno (did a little shopping) and then had an incredible lunch in Argiroupolis where we ate the most heavenly lamb that was cooked over wood fire, we saw the chef catch (with a net) our trout and just feasted away! Of course, a little Raki to finish. Then we went to Kournas Lake, which was so beautiful and peaceful. Lastly to Chania, and even though it was late, Alexander didn’t rush us and walked us ally through the old city and even pointed out the Synagogue, which we really wanted to see.

Great half day tour out on the water with Michal. A lovely snack of cheese and vegetables was prepared for us with cold water and other drinks all included. Armin at Adventure Crete went through special efforts to arrange a cake and champagne to celebrate our daughter’s birthday.Thank you for making our day special, Michal and Armin. We’ll be back for sure.
