Mikey our guide was awesome, he not only gave us a small tour around Freeport but was outstanding with our water excursion. I would give him and the tour more stars but not enough room. I highly recommend it and get Mikey as your guide he is a rock star.

Mikey from Land, Sand and Sea was an outstanding guide. We saw much more of the Bahama life than we expected and had a great time.

Amazing - a must do adventure. Your tour guide Mike is wonderful - full of energy and a wealth of knowledge on growing up in the Bahamas. No better way to see the underwater marine life. We truly enjoyed the day.

Hida was very informative about the islands, took great pride in every effort to ensure her guests had a wonderful time/tour.

Everything was perfect, from entry to exit. Don’t sleep on this excursion. It was really only a couple of people out there, but it was wonderful, especially if you have kids because we had the whole beach to ourselves.

My husband & I had a wonderful time!!! Hida was an excellent guide, she was knowledgeable of the island, & very personable!! We learned many interesting things, from landscaping, different sections & neighborhoods, & of course delicious food. AND the Beautiful blue water was the star!!!

Nice secluded spot with beautiful views and nice beach. We were on a shore excursion from the port with a small group and pretty much had the place to ourselves! The staff didn't seem prepared for our groups arrival but once that was all sorted out they were amazing; they even brought complimentary conch fritters to our table during lunch and they made sure the drinks kept coming. The food was good as well. We did notice that the facilities needed a bit of upkeep although the bathrooms were very clean.

What a great experience! Mikey was an incredible, and very funny guide from start to finish… throughout our drive to the kayaking site he shared historical, cultural, and natural history information. The kayaking was awesome, we were able to view fish from the bottom of the kayak, super cool! He took and shared pictures so we were able to just be in the moment. Lunch was great, too! Knowledgeable, thoughtful, flexible, and fun. Highly recommend!!!!

Hida was warm, personable, educated, and provided lots of information. She was easy to spend the day with, and the snorkeling was great!

Alfredo was a wonderful host and ambassador for Grand Bahamas. Would highly recommend especially when he receives the new electric bikes.

A very laid back island, with great restaurants and beaches. The Island Seas resort was nice, kinda quiet. The Caves and Botanical Garden were great.

Did a lot of research and found Hida. We wanted something custom and private. We wanted to see as much of the island in a limited amount of time. Hida didn’t disappoint. We told her some of our must do’s, and asked her for some of hers. This tour is a little pricey, but all of the Bahamas excursions are. Plus this is private.

We were met right away with a sign showing our name. Pleasant driver and experience. Drove directly to our hotel.

Hida was an absolutely wonderful tour guide and helped us experience Grand Bahama Island from a local’s perspective.Due to some unexpected inclement weather, our original plans for the day wound up off the table. Rather than calling things off, Hida worked with us to build a new itinerary that I wouldn’t have traded even for our original plans. We toured a local fruit farm and tasted the family’s crops, we found a gorgeous beach that required us to off-road through a forest, we toured a rum distillery, and so much more. Any time a member of our group had a question, Hida not only knew the answer, but could make two phone calls and take us someplace we hadn’t even thought of going.Hida’s flexibility and creativity turned what could have been a lost day due to the weather into the most memorable day of our vacation. When we got back to the cruise ship, people were complaining left and right about how ripped off they felt by the cruise line’s shore excursions underdelivering because of the weather. We made the right choice booking with Hida and you should, too.

Overall this was a great experience! A couple of hiccups, but certain circumstances led to them. Hida is a great guide with a wealth of knowledge of her island. I booked this excursion because it was "Personalized and Unique". Not a ship excursion, or one that we were pushed into once arriving at the dock. This was prearranged and it was "only" my husband and myself. When you do an excursion like this you can gain much more information and even be able to work with Hida to adjust the day to things "you" really want to do and not just settle for the exact times and places preassigned by other excursion companies. Hida will make you feel very comfortable and runs her licensed tour company as a exclusive independent excursion that caters to her bookings. Unfortunately, Margaritaville's 3 night weekend cruise, puts you in port on a Sunday. BAD BAD schedule on the Cruise Companies part. Leaving out of West Palm on a Friday and having Saturday as a sea day and Sunday is port day is not well thought out. Sunday in Grand Bahama is their religious day and everything is closed and the sidewalks are rolled up. If the schedule was switched between Saturday and Sunday the tourists would be able to experience so much more the island has to offer. Also the change would bring more revenue to the island. With that being said, a few places we did visit included the Lighthouse, a new Art Exhibit of local artists, Dorsets Conch experience on the beach and a stop at a local restaurant for some conch fritters. We enjoyed the places we did see, but we were disappointed in the things we missed out on. I HAVE REBOOKED with Hida for a repeat of the same weekend cruise, cruising this time with a friend, and we will be adjusting the excursion sites and schedule to be even more personal to our wants and needs. I'm looking forward to ironing out the details with Hida soon and will repost again after the second time around. AGAIN, IF YOU WANT TO BE WITH ONLY YOUR PARTY AND CHOOSE YOUR DAY- BOOK HIDA! **This is not a paid advertisement! lol
