It was an amazing experience and the shops on site provided a great range of souvenirs. We opted for the 2-hour visit which would have been ample but there was a slight delay during yhd journey up there which limited time. 3-hrs would allow you to take your time, do yhd full 1.5hr discovery tour and thd shops. Be aware, it gets busy and the large groups have a tendency to push/shove their way around.

Very popular sight so quite crowded. Also crowded with tourists so the lines and crowds are not the orderly polite groups you become accustomed to while in Switzerland. You will be pushed and jostled if you are there in the busy season. That said it is an incredible feat of engineering that built the tunnel through the mountain as is something not to be missed. If you can, take the hike to the Summit house (3hr walk over snow). Threat gets you away from the crowdWe had one hiccup in our trip. Our tickets scanned as half the price tickets when person checking tickets on the train scanned them. I have paid full price and did not have a Swiss half price ticket card. He accepted our tickets once I showed him the booking receipt but it did cause a moment of anxiety.Also would be nice if the tickets gave an option to take the gondola for part of the trip up

It's a risk going up there as to whether you get the views or not. We didn't unfortunately. It's a lot of money but we got half price with the Swiss pass. The gondola ride was great and very quiet and smooth....thank goodness. It was also quite empty. The train ride however is like a bun fight of pushing and shoving by certain people. It was cloudy and a bit snowy on our views but I am sure it is spectacular on a different day. Food is expensive. All the view points were crowded and you're unable to take photos without someone else in it or waiting to get you out of the way. It did spoil it a little as I got tetchy with people just pushing etc. the lifts get crowded etc but I suppose this is to be expected when you have loads of people up there. The return journey was equally busy. I did enjoy the experience despite the lack of view but the hordes of people do spoil it a bit.

My husband and I went here while in Grindlewald. You walk through the canyon and have a few activities available as well. It's quite pricey.

Very informative Grindelwald Village tour by Ben. We explored various old houses in the village. He also took us to a swiss watch store where we bought swiss military watch as souvenir.

The journey to Jungfraujoch was incredible! The views from "Top of Europe" were stunning. The Swiss Travel Pass made the trip seamless. A must-do for any nature lover visiting Switzerland!

Our visit to the Top of Europe today was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we embarked on this adventure, the journey was filled with breathtaking views, unmatched experiences, and memories that we will cherish forever

First of all: breathtaking, amazing, stunning! And now, on to practical stuff: we bought combo tickets that included a bus ride from the parking, unlimited use of cable cars and 2 activities per person. We parked in the garage right where the bus picks you up and takes you to the Grindelwald First Cable Car station.). As you exit the parking structure, the bus will be on your right. Weather: we were there in August and on that specific day it was around 16C at the foot of the mountain and much colder on top. I mean, much colder! Hats/scarves and mittens much colder, especially if you are traveling with the kids. We were unfortunate with some bad weather during our visit, fog. Part of our rides on cable cars was covered with fog. The fog can clear as you go higher and then can come back again. Some activities WILL get delayed or CANCELLED altogether due to fog. We got really lucky to be the last ones to do First Glider and it shut down for the day after us due to fog. You will not get your $$ back, but you can do some other activities that will remain open (trott bikes and mountain carts). First Glider had over an hour wait. If we ever go back, I will not be buying tickets for activities beforehand, due to the fact that weather can alter your plans. You can actually pay for your activity as you are about to embark on one. There are pay machines right at the start of each activity (card only though). My family also did mountain carts which was a blast (another hour wait) and our kids did trott bikes down the mountains into the town. I didn’t do any activities which helped us split as I waited in lines why the rest of the family did the activities. We started walking on First Walk, it was raining and became very slippery. I didn’t realize how narrow that walk is, we ended up turning around as it didn’t seem safe at that point.All in all it was an absolutely amazing day, even with the bad weather. Our family had a blast!

We drove to Geindlewald and caught the gondola up to the eigerglacier and it was good. An amazing view, off season so not many people and we had a stroll and went to the restaurant. All in all 37€ each way totalling around 150€, a reachable price to pay for the experience. We wanted to go to the top but that was 211€ each. This was just a bridge too far for the next little way and totally out of reach for ordinary people. Chamonix was 57 to 78€ return each just to put it in perspective.

It was all fun and amazing and beautiful… Even though it wasn’t a clear day, the experience was worth it

Wonderful vehicle, very luxurious, with great wi-fi available in the car. The ride itself was smooth with no problems at all, a little over 2 hours went really fast without any headaches or hiccups.The driver was super professional and courteous, even stopped at a wonderful sight sighting spot to let us snap a few pictures, and furthermore he gave us a bit of a tour talking about all the different spots around, and how the transportation systems works if we were to use them.If you're looking for a super professional transfer, then AlpTransfer has my highest recommendation and regards. Priscila is an incredible guide and this was by far the best tour’s we’ve been on! She brought us to so many beautiful places that when she asked at the end of the tour our favorite it was nearly impossible to choose! The tour was very relaxing with a beautiful drive to each destination. There was no rush at any spot that we were enjoying and it felt like it was truly on our time. We had lunch in Grindelwald which was also outstanding! If you have a day to spend on Switzerland I highly recommend you spend it with Priscila!

We loved every minute of our trip. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and other family members.
