Our guide Andrew was great; informative, witty and personable. We especially loved the interiors of the Hobbit House, and I really enjoyed the fruit, veges and flowers growing around the site. Thoroughly recommend the experience.

We really enjoyed this snorkeling excursion, especially in a small group. The weather didn't cooperate with us that day, but Alex made this adventure well worth it. So many great memories of swimming with Sea Turtles, Stingrays and Black Tip Reef Sharks as well as snorkeling thru the beauty of the coral. We definitely recommend Alex Lagoon Tours.

Great experience. Guide was excellent. Price was similar to buying at box office. Easy to turn in City Boat Tours voucher. Sells out so this is a good way to get tickets.

We had an amazing experience on the Ocean Freedom! The staff and crew were super friendly and knowledgeable and helped our family of four to experience the Great Barrier Reef in its full glory. We saw so many amazing things, including sea turtles, a stingray, and so many different fish. The giant clams were also awesome. The crew served great food and we had a spectacular day all around!

Had a great relaxing day out. Stopping first at a great lookout. Then onto the picturesque Akaroa, a beautiful quaint town which put on a scrumptious meal. Saw Hector dolphins and seals while on the boat tour which was awesome.

Gosh where to start! Firstly it was so well organised. A truly delightful experience and way more than I ever expected. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was worth every cent. Hobbiton actually felt like a real place. Randomly, what surprised me the most was the extremely reasonable cafe prices. It was cheaper than any other cafe we visited in the North Island. Keep up the great work! This place makes me proud to be a kiwi. 🖤

It is the Great Barrier Reef of course it is worth it! What was unexpected and delightful was the crew. The team is the best! The tour team was 10 awesome persons! Kelly and Paul were one of the first persons we met. They gave a warm hearted welcome on to the boat. We were quite a large group. I made observations through out the hours long tour. The crew: Kelly was a smiling face and sweet personality. She recommended which group to go with for dives. She was ready with a word of encouragement. Paul was always ready to assist when having a question. My husband stated that he was well informed upon them speaking. Luke made sure we were feed and knew what were the guidelines. He was assisting in whatever way he could. He is very playful and a joy. Our drive instructors were Molly and Tom. Wow did they know their stuff. While learning a new skill not once were they impatient though it was tested repeatedly. Molly and Tom made the experience of scuba diving less frightening. Molly went out of her way to make my experience worth it. She was ever patient with me! While scuba diving, I panicked but just from all that she had gone over and also her being there I was able to see the reef! She did not show a moment of frustration. Tom was in the water generally. As soon as I met him, he made sure that I was not apprehensive. He has a calming presence. Tee was giving tours on the glass bottom boat! She is soft spoken but has a huge presence. She informed us about all the ways they are conserving the area! Yaya was sweet and helpful. She went over snorkeling guidelines and made it interesting as well! She was ready to help when there was not any crew to help my husband and I to swim. My husband stated that she was so compassionate and understanding of his level of skill. She tugged my husband along and he was able to see the reef! Sarah was my person that I snorkeled with! She showed such kindness in how to snorkel not to just an adult but also a 5 year boy. She would show whatever animal was present to us! Matt was commanding of all that was going on. He handled who did what and also the team. He made sure everyone got to experience that they paid for but also that his team was available. The skipper Bob( not his name) was the fun and the main guy! He kept a light hearted attitude. He was behind the scenes magician. He is a presence that was magical!We would recommend this team(already have started) to everyone we know. We came back highly impressed as there were around 75 people on the tour that day. These persons made the experience of a bucket list dream come true. We have connected such gracious people to an experience that we will not forget! Each person remembered our name. They made us comfortable such at every turn.They love what they do and for some short hours you understand what they love! We are ever grateful for their compassion and kindness shown. Thank you wholeheartedly to these individuals from the both of us.

The 3 day deal is a a very good deal. Both the reef cruise and rainforest days were fantastic and operated by a first class outfit. We both commented on how well run the boat and ground tours were done. Slight down grade to the Kuranda sky rail day as the town is a typical tourist trap and the train ride was acceptable but not necessarily exceptional. Skyrail was cool and an interesting way to see more rainforest. Tips: realize that there are extra costs on the reef tour for diving, or snorkel guide, but well worth it. The reef tour also has a semi-submergible extra that is also worth the extra cost. Lunch is provided, and very good for a tour. Don’t expect gourmet, but a nice spread ala buffet style. Same for the day for the rain forest, a good sit down meal served for lunch at a restaurant and was an unexpected surprise. Both are full day efforts so expect to be exhausted at end of day. Overall this is a good way to experience Cairns adventures. The skyrail was an easier day with a later start and mostly just sitting to see scenery, with a couple of platform stops for forest observation and waterfalls. We were glad we chose this combination option to experience the area.

Tour guide was detailed in describing the place and scenes from the movies, and we had enough time to take photos around the area. Area was well maintained.

Very good small group experience. We saw several spots in the morning with great snorkeling experiences. Alex organizes the tour so that the experience is on top and without the crowds, plus he delivers plenty of information about the island and its history.

What a barrel of laughs spent with excellent tour guides, Ebony and Kobi. These girls know what they're talking about with interesting information and entertaining Dad Jokes, puns and Thunderous singing. (The free rum at the end was also molasseficent!) We believe a pay rise is overdue! Cheers! 🥃😁

Great pickup and narrated travel experience, Jeoff was a great driver and excellent guide. Truly once in a lifetime opportunity and Cheeky Kiwi helped to make it happen. The tour guide at Hobbiton was less than stellar, but that had nothing to do with CK.

I had a really heavy bag. I had stitches in my back and Rye helped me carry my bag on and off, and also the same for return. He was polite, friendly and super hot. Recommend 💯.

Very easy to book and once you get to the SeaLink ferry terminal show the voucher and receive a small paper ticket to scan by the ferry crew upon boarding the ferry.
