Visiting the Whitsundays? Then this is the tour group for you!We did two tours with these guys and highly recommend them! Both tours departed from the Hamilton Island Marina.We did the Full day snorkel on the reef and after about two hours (on a super comfy vessel), we arrived at our first snorkel spot - I think it was the back of Bait Reef). During the boat trip, our guides went around and spoke to all the guests, the check fitness and swim capability. I'm an average swimmer and Grace suggested I use a pool noodle - these were readily available. Other guests opted for life jackets. This added an extra level of confidence and allowed a more pleasant snorkelling experience. Once in the water, we were watched over by Grace and Jack on surf skis (one at the front of the group and one at the rear ) as well as Lacey close by in the tender - if you needed assistance.We visited two sights during the day ( I think the second was Stepping Stones ) and Rory our skipper was funny, informative and adaptive , during the whole day.In between snorkel opportunities, there was morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea available. Everything was fresh and yummy and nicely prepared by Dianne. The mini donuts were so yummy!The equipment provided ( wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins - were all in good condition). In fact , when my husband's snorkel played up, it was promptly replaced. ........................................................................................................... On our second tour - we did the Half Day Explore Hill Inlet. This was a replacement tour, as our Whitehaven tour was canceled and I'm so glad we did this. Again, we traveled in the comfortable vessel, skippered by Rory.The transfer from the main vessel to the island is via tender - professionally skippered by the capable and super nice -Lacey. Once landed, it was a 20 minute guided scenic bush walk to the lookout (boardwalk/gentle elevation), where our guide Gus , was happy to take photos of groups. The view from the lookout is nothing short of breathtaking and the only way to appreciate the splendour of Whitehaven and the area, Depending how long you choose to spend at the lookouts - there are three in total- determines how long you get at the beach. This beach (looking across to Whitehaven) is spectacular. Everyone then meets at the pre-determined meeting spot and is transferred back to the main vessel via tender.My tip would be, try and get the first tender onto the island - to maximise your visit. There is ample time and this makes the most of your visit.In summary- we would definitely recommend the crew of Explore. You will be in capable hands with Lacey, Gus, Rory, Grace and Jack.

The bus pick up was late But the crocodile tour was great Food was also great Hosts were great Tractor tour was only average - not too much to see Overall very enjoyable and worth doing

On a once-in-a-lifetime trip from Ireland. We booked a trip to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef (we were brought to Butterfly Bay on Hook Island) in the morning and visit Whitehaven Beach in the afternoon (booked as one tour with the company). The tour was fantastic. The team was professional, well organised, friendly and relaxed. The refreshments and lunch provided for us on board were delicious. The boat was clean and comfortable. The tour itself was incredible. We spotted lots of unusual fish and some fantastic coral despite staying on the inner reef. We did not feel that we missed out at all. Whitehaven Beach is also a must-see and we had time to walk up to the lookout and explore the beaches below. We would not hesitate to recommend Explore Australia as a safe pair of hands for your travel experience in the Whitsundays.

Fantastic day on the Cheeky. One of the best days of our 2 weeks in Australia. Thanks to Madi and Cam for making it a top notch experience. I would highly recommend!

We did an introductory dive where the instructor guided us around the reef by hand. Before heading into the water, they were incredibly thorough—taking the time to go over how to breathe underwater and helping us get comfortable below the surface. I’m not a strong swimmer, but thanks to the instructor’s support, I had an amazing time. It truly became one of those “I’ll never forget this” moments.All the staff were kind and helpful, making the whole experience even better. We went in June, so there were no stingers. The water was a little cold, but that didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time.Highly recommended!

This was incredible experience, the views were spectacular, the reef was awesome, the staff were amazing, friendly and always available. This would be a can’t miss experience.

We had a great day out. Steve and Stu are very knowledgeable and clearly love the wildlife! They wanted to make sure everyone had a great time and got a good glimpse of all the wildlife the Proserpine River had to offer. Lots of joking around, good food and some incredible creatures! Highly rate this tour. Thanks guys :)

A memorable experience! What a great way to discover the Great Barrier Reef, which is filled with colorful fish. The equipment for snorkeling and diving are at our disposal. Activities are carried out in a safe manner. The staff is super nice and attentive. The beds are comfortable. The food is excellent. In short, a very nice life experience. Wow, well organized and many options when you reach the reef. The food was also very nice, I suggest more individually wrapped items as there are so many people on the boat. All in all the staff take great care of you and look out for your safety first!!!

Really good service, easy to arrange and a fair price. Made it there in reasonable time. Space for the cases.

My family took a trip of a lifetime to Australia last year, and one of our top highlights was the magical day we spent exploring the Whitsundays by private charter. We had some weather to contend with on this day, but our captain Cam was able to find routes with smoother water for us to jump in and explore. Our day consisted of snorkeling, hiking up Whitsunday Island to gain the best views of the white sand beaches and turquoise water, and cruising around the islands. They were so kind to our 11-year-old son, patiently answering all his questions. It’s a perfect way to explore and I would do it again if I am fortunate enough to return to the Whitsundays.

Spectacular charter through the Withsundays, the very professional and super attentive crew, we also snorkeled, and being a charter, we were always one step ahead of the more numerous excursions, so everything, it felt super exclusive, as if we had these wonderful places just for ourselves. We were also offered a rich meal and drink on board, and a toast with champagne. Really super recommended, a unique and exclusive experience.

What a exciting, relaxing and well catered experience. This is the most inclusive trip my wife and I have ever experienced. The room was incredible with underwater view of the reef and fish with lights at night. Could not sleep a wink. Kept looking for George the Grouper! To the snorkeling with Joe who could not have been more exciting or knowledgeable. The views were breathtaking! Alba and Brooke on the pontoon were the best and most professional host keeping everyone informed, relaxed, entertained, and enthused. And the almost non-stop meals were first class! Cannot recommend this enough.

Geoff was waiting for us when we arrived at the Whitsundays airport and we drove to Airlie Beach with the top of the BMW convertible down. Very fun! He also did us the favor of taking us for a spin through town to show us where things were before taking us to our hotel.

Great sailing boat! Clean and lots of room . Fantastic staff. The short hike on Whitsunday followed by time on the beach was spectacular. Stunning beach. Snorkeling was good . Great Bbq lunch . Lots of food provided throughout the day. You wont be hungry ! Highly recommend. Great value For your money

The trip was fun, however due to the weather being extremely blustery (very windy 30-40km), a bit rainy it was a bumpy ride and wet (but fun with the sea soaking you from all angles) - almost all other cruises were cancelled. Despite the weather and a bit disappointing we actually never made it to Whitehaven as the sea was just too challenging we were well looked after. The was tonnes of food and pretty yummy.Unbelievably no one was seasick, so it says a lot for the vessel and its crew.We did get to go snorkelling which was great and we ended up on another little beach which was cute but it was a far cry from Whitehaven. Maybe next time.
