Paul was absolutely brilliant as a tour guide. Easy to get along with, very knowledgeable about Weymouth and a 'mobile information centre' about everywhere worth visiting in the area. Would highly recommend the tour, definitely worth the money.

We went on a great walking tour with Paul, and he showed us areas of Weymouth that we don't usually visit. He is very informative and we learnt a lot from the trip. We would highly recommend the tour.

Fantastic day out with all you need one of the best sea life centres I have been too and well worth the money for a full day out. Very child friendly and friendly and helpful staff with clean and tidy facilities.

Great day out for the family with something for everyone and lots of opportunities to see different animals/birds being fed. Slightly small site so may be a bit more cramped in the height of summer but good atmosphere in the Easter weekend and they have timed entry to help manage numbers. Our five year old loved the playpark and was eager to jump in the splash pool and fountains, while my mum loved the sea horses and my girlfriend couldn't get enough of the penguins.

Ours was an adult mother/daughter trip. We had a beautiful day and the tour was all we expected and more. We loved the balance of guided information and independent exploration. We definitely could not have seen all this without a helpful and knowledgeable guide.

Wow wow wow! Jurrasic coast it is . Be brave to hike and don't be deterred by the mighty winds . A must see place but wear sensible gear !

Really intersting tour of Dorcet. Hannah was the guide with a modern van. Since my wife and I were the only tourists...we were able to custmoize the tour for the day. Hannah (who is owner of Jurassic Jouneys) was very accomodating and fun to be with...she knows her way around..knows her history of area as she lives there. Tour seems expensive but when we were finished...I thought it was a geat deal...within an hour I felt like I was with a friend or relative who lived in the area and showed me the non-tourist things that make it special. We even got to walk around where she grew up! If you have the time...take the tour wiht Hannah.

Spensor did a fantastic job showing us around. Very funny, extremely knowledgeable, jokes for days. He kept a very tight but efficient schedule.

This was a small group tour available to cruise ship passengers. There were 8 in the tour group. Our guide Spencer was professional, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. All along the way he explained the geography and history of the Jurassic coast. He took us on the easiest routes to the best lookouts and suggested his favourite locations for local foods. One of our best guides ever.We travelled some back roads through the rolling Dorset hills to visit Westbay and the sight where Broadchurch was filmed. Durdle Door is a limestone archway. Spenser walked us along a hillside path to view as it takes too long to walk down to the arch. Lulworth Cove shows how Techtronic plates shaped the coast. This stop requires strenuous climbing of steep paths and steps. If you have mobility issues ask for directions for the paved road to the cove beach.At Corfe Castle Spencer suggested the Train Station for views of the castle ruins and the Rail car café. The steam train’s arrival for photos while we were there was a bonus.In Weymouth Spenser recommended Bennett's Fish & Chips for a late lunch. Arriving after the lunch rush we avoided a long queue. The food was good and fast leaving time to wander around the old harbour. Last stop is the Olympic Rings from 2012 on the hilltop overlooking Chesil beach and the town. A retaining wall is made from stone and fossils of trees and ammonites.The 7 hour tour was well paced and we saw much of the Dorset countryside. We did not feel tired at the end of the day. Spencer provided water and snacks to keep going before lunch. Highly recommended.

Our tour was in October. We started our tour at Portland castle that we got to see at the end of the tour. The shuttle bus that we took at the port only took a few minutes to get to Portland Castle which was the firat stop. Our tour guide, Peter and is wife Michelle were very knowledgeable of the area, but most of all they were caring and succeeded in helping us feel mat home in a foreign land. I'm a very healthy 86-year-old and a little after the first half of the tour my wife and I felt a little tired and Michelle offered to take us in her car to the rest of the stops (two more). The pub or small restaurant had tasty local food and excellent service. The views were stunning, and the rock quarry art was particularly interesting. Peter ushered us into a quaint church building where we were the only tour group there. I even had my picture taken from the pulpit! Pebble beach may not look like much in pictures, but the pebbles are bigger that you might think, and the expanse of the beach and the view is unique. If you have never used an electric bike, Peter will give an introduction to e bikes and let you practice. I am 86 years old and had never ridden an e-bike, but I found it was not that difficult. If you want an active tour with interesting sites to visit and excellent guides, then this bike tour is for you.

Loved this activity! I was a little nervous since I don’t spend a lot of time biking and hills are always a challenge for me. These were quality e-bikes and you get started on top of the hill so there are only some ups and one big downhill. Nothing the bike can’t handle. Peter and Michelle are awesome guides and do a good job assessing the ability level of the group. Lunch stop food was awesome, views amazing, quirky stops, and cool beach. Would love to do another biking adventure with Peter and Michelle. Highlight of our trip so far.

The swannery & scenic treks thru the countryside & by the ocean made the all day event so great! Villages & abbey + gelato at the coast were more fun + history! Hannah our guide did a great job showing us Dorset area- even rhe Duchy!

This was a VERY LAST MINUTE booking but you would never know it. Our guide Spencer was full of suggestions allowing us to customize our day together. He was extremely knowledgeable and his enthusiasm and good nature were contagious. Would highly recommend.

This was a fantastic tour to 3 key sites, with ample free time to explore each, after useful insights from Danny, our guide. Danny enthusiastically shared many fascinating historical and geological facts from the Jurassic to the Georgian and modern eras! He was happy to flex the itinerary to suit the participants. I’m delighted I was able to join this event with Dorset Tours, which was excellent value lasting over 6 hours. Thanks Danny and Sally.

Andy our tour guide was fantastic! Very personable and so knowledgeable about the region and history! Wish we could take him on the rest of our trip! Bob our driver was fantastic as well! such a fun duo!

We had such a great time we went into Weymouth walked along by the harbour plenty of places to sit and have a cuppa or cold drink or ice cream went round to the shops loads of different shops then along the front by the beach and plenty places to have a drink We also went to Swanage on another day such a lovely place plenty of cafes beautiful beach 🏖️ more shops look out for the salt pig deli great place for drinks food or takeaway we bought a beautiful salad to take away with us very helpful staff we also bought sausage cooked ham lovely fresh food Recommend a visit
